Devon Bat Group is one of a network of bat groups in the UK. The group was formed in 1984 by a group of people concerned about the decline of British bats. They have given us advice on habitat creation, bat handling and surveys, and recording techniques. Sarah Butcher has organised "Bat Walks" for our members and has cared for injured bat's that get released back into the wild. There website contains invaluable information about bats, the problems they face, and how to identify them
